GIRL IN HOME
About Girl In Home
Effective October 10, 2026
A thoughtful wardrobe. A welcoming home. A little room to explore.
Girl In Home is an independent English-language journal for women building a life that feels comfortable, useful and their own. Our name begins at home, but our curiosity goes well beyond the front door: getting dressed for an ordinary Tuesday, choosing the right bag for a weekend away, making space in a small apartment, or planning a memorable afternoon with family.
What you will find here
Our Style section turns everyday plans into wearable outfits and explains what to look for before buying. Home & Living focuses on real rooms, realistic routines and purchases that solve a specific problem. Travel covers packing, planning and slower escapes. Experiences brings together our original iFLY article archive.
Useful before aspirational
We prefer a clear tradeoff to an impossible promise. A beautiful suitcase is not automatically the best one for a train journey. An expensive sweater is not a better purchase if the care routine does not fit your week. Our guides help you weigh the details that matter to your own life.
How we work
New articles are written as editorial guides, with sources for relevant factual details. We do not imply we have visited, worn or tested something unless the article has an identified basis for that claim. Our three archived iFLY stories retain the supplied original account and links, separately identified as archive material. We use scene photography to illustrate subjects; a photograph does not mean we personally stayed at the depicted property or tested a depicted product.
Some articles and advertisements contain affiliate links. If you buy through a qualifying link, we may receive a commission. Our Affiliate Disclosure explains this relationship, and our Editorial Policy explains our standards.
